Beyond Good & Evil
Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche
Beyond Good and Evil: Prelude to a Philosophy of the Future, first published in 1886, expands the ideas of Thus Spoke Zarathustra in a more critical and polemical form. Nietzsche accuses past philosophers of lacking critical sense and of building metaphysical systems on faith in the opposition of good and evil. He subjects traditional morality to a destructive critique, exposes the deficiencies of so-called philosophers, and describes the new philosophers of the future.
