The typical coming of age, rich girl poor boy trope, no. Just no. Overall the story was just such a drag, I wanted to dnf it at so many points but didn't wanna start my year off bad. Oh God, hasn't this trope been done enough already? It tried to patch things up with throwing in depression and a possible suicide (i believe, or was it a murder?) I mean don't know didn't care doesn't matter. But again if you're one who enjoys a long drawn will-they or will-they-not kinda romance, go ahead give it a try.
