My thoughts

3/5stars For just 39 pages, this book does have a very slow pace but in a good way. The dialogues are sparse but the atmosphere build up is amazing. Very contemplative, very melancholic. Haven't read the controversial [b:Divergent|13335037|Divergent (Divergent, #1)|Veronica Roth|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1588455221l/13335037._SY75_.jpg|13155899] series by Veronica Roth but this novella was beautifully done. This was my fourth read from the Forward collection and by far the second fav, [b:The Last Conversation|49674113|The Last Conversation|Paul Tremblay|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1563468739l/49674113._SX50_SY75_.jpg|72182739] being on top right now.
