My thoughts

3.75 rounded off to 4 stars I was pleasantly surprised by this book. I expected only pretentious forced writing and teenage drama. What I found instead was a very good representation, valid arguments and struggles. It was real in a way I didn't expect. My expectations were really really low and that probably affected how I ended up feeling about this. But i see it as an absolute win. Maybe my YA era isn't really over yet. Maybe I just need to look for the right book. I know I'm very late to the hype train of this book, but like if you still haven't read it- what are you waiting for??
