My thoughts

4.5/5 stars I stop myself from apologizing- because what would I even be sorry for? Existing too loud? I went into this one completely blind, didn't know anything about the author, or the book. Didn't even read the blurb. and OMG. this book deserves all the applause and then some. It is a very entertaining fast-paced thriller that had me gripped from the very start. I would like to point out tho that the writing is a little too YA for me and the whole high school BS annoyed me a lot but the story was way too good to let this affect my reading experience a lot. I love dark academia and this hit right on spot. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Even though I know I shouldn’t care, it annoys me that when girls know what they want and how they’re going to get it, they’re seen as cocky. But guys who know what they want? They’re confident or strong. Book Trigger Warnings- Racism, Homophobia, Bullying, Blood, Alcohol consumption, Car accident, Racist slurs, Stalking, Emotional abuse, Panic attacks/disorders, Outing of queer characters, Suicide ideation, Suicide attempt, Death of a parent, Gun violence, Murder, Toxic Relationship, Sexism, Forced institutionalization, Drug use
