My thoughts

4/5 stars i know i know, almost everybody seems to have hated it but hear me out y'all! a fast-paced, action packed psychological thriller which i know is NOT the next Gone Girl but it had me gripping okay. like some of those scenes: to hear them out? BONE FUCKING CHILLING. the audiobook is fantastic, highly recommend! Although, the story has it's flaws, there were some moments where the main character's stupidity was too much to bear and like i get it's not at all realistic but it got me out of an almost month-long reading slump. idc, it's getting the four stars! 'Fear,’ he whispered. ‘There is nothing quite like it. I love how it looks, I love how it feels, I love how it smells. And I especially love the sound of it.’ I felt his tongue on my cheek. ‘I even love the taste of it' Trigger Warnings for the book- If you haven't already guessed from the blurb- severe psychological abuse; non-violent but very disturbing. This is will be a spoiler but Animal Abuse. A dog. There is a dog and *sob*
