My thoughts

4/5 stars the push is a fast paced psychological thriller with themed surrounding inter generational trauma. As an avid thriller enthusiast I have read many books with the mean streak kid and possibly psycho mother. but this one stood out because of a. It's unique writing style. it is written as the main character would think- lot of second person statements which might take some getting used to but absolutely added to the reading experience for me. b. the ending. without giving away anything, we generally have a set way books with this trope end. not this one. it had a unique twist. highly recommend. you'll be hooked! (did I say I finished it in one setting of about 4 hours?)
