My Dark Vanessa opens Goodreads in a new tab
Kate Elizabeth Russell
In 2017, Vanessa Wye is thirty-two and working at a hotel when the news breaks that her former English teacher has been accused of abusing another student. Vanessa was fifteen when the relationship began, and she has always insisted that it was a love story. As the world reckons with the question, she must face what she has refused to see. Kate Elizabeth Russell's debut is an unflinching novel about trauma, power, and memory.

My thoughts
while it is an imp topic which needs to be discussed more and this book does do it well i will rate solely on the basis of how much i enjoyed it: which obviously i didn't because wtf. but yeah a topic that definitely needs more awareness/talking about.
