Small Gods (Discworld, #13) opens Goodreads in a new tab

The Great God Om is trying to manifest as his Eighth Prophet's time draws near, but he finds himself trapped in the body of a tortoise, stripped of his divine powers. In the gardens of Omnia's capital, Kom, he addresses the novice Brutha, the only person able to hear his voice. A Discworld novel that satirises philosophy, organised religion and the role of faith in political life.
