My thoughts

2.5 rounded up to 3 ⭐️ wanted to start the year with a slam dunk mystery thriller and usually this author satisfies that exact itch for me. this time around though? too many loopholes, loose ends and things that just didn’t make any sense. although the slow start and great setting definitely were a plus in was able to predict the “whodunnit” early on. but still the other ‘twist’ in the last chapter was a surprise and i am not sure if it was a good one. onto the next one!
