Things We Left Behind (Knockemout, #3) opens Goodreads in a new tab

My thoughts

generous 3.5 ⭐️ don’t know if it is my “even romance books aren’t giving me the pick me up i need” phase or what. even though this book is very well loved and i went in with medium ish expectations after the last one was such a major disappointment) it still made me literally roll my eyes at times. the contrasting upbringing of the main characters and background story of the mmc was interesting and honestly props to the book for showing old(er) main characters but other than idk, it just okay. was definitely too long for a run-of-the-mill pick me up romance novel, even though i finished it in a day & change.
