My thoughts

2.5 ⭐️ rounded down see i am not above books trying to be meta or breaking the fourth wall or whatever but this just wasn’t it…. it was too elaborate for me to be able to stay in the story. every time i would start getting invested in the whodunnit or play-by-play of things, the author would come breaking the damned fourth wall reminding me of how fair and honest he is being- which would put me out of the story again and again and again. not to say that i did not enjoy the writing- i mean the humour was definitely there (i researched after finishing the book and am not at all surprised to find that a comedian wrote this book) but other than that this was sadly a miss.
