My thoughts
2.5/5stars In my experience, those who have the greatest respect for the rules also take the most enjoyment in breaking them. Honestly wtf was the hype about this book?? I mean yea if it's your first rodeo with mystery thrillers okay I get it, but Goodreads Choice Awards for best mystery thriller?? pls that is stretching it up too much. don't get me wrong, i loved the experience of reading it, the build up was great. It was fun yes. But it was painstakingly obvious who the villain was from like the second chapter. And the whole whodunnit thing wasn't that big a revelation cous it could have been anyone of the four, it wouldn't have come off as a surprise. But it’s possible to hate your body when you’re thin, too. To feel like it’s kept secrets from you. To feel like it’s let you down. it looked to me like so many plot twists were introduced just for the sake of it. the whole big revelation was flimsy at best and it wasn't something I would remember a few weeks from now. So no this book just didn't upto the hype for me, I believe the 3 stars I gave is also a bit too generous. Tho if you are new to this genre, you should def give it try I think you might like it CWs for the book-Bullying, eating Disorder, Drowning, Drug use, Emotional abuse, Self harm (graphic), Sexual assault, Suicide
