How to Kill Your Family opens Goodreads in a new tab
Bella Mackie
Grace Bernard discovers her absent millionaire father has rejected her dying mother's pleas for help, and she vows revenge. Her plan is to kill the family that shunned her, one by one, in increasingly inventive ways. Told in a darkly funny first-person voice from prison, it is a black comedy about murder and class.

My thoughts
3/5 stars As much as I loved the snarky remarks the main character makes all throughout the book and her commentary on how the uber-rich live on a completely different plane of existence from us did do it for me- I AM SO SO SO pissed about the ending. We did not need that shabbily done ending especially with a man?????? Why can't we let women have something? One thing? Even if it is the infamy surrounding killing their own family??? Had it not been for that godforsaken ending this book would have become my new fav thriller recc. But alas, this just dropped the ball. It still is an interesting title to be reading in front of your family on a Sunday evening tho :P Does anyone have a father that doesn't disappoint in some low level but ultimately incredibly damaging way? Book Trigger Warnings- Violence, Murder, Blood, Drugs and Alcohol Abuse.
