It's an actual trope." "I know," Tom said. "What does it say about us that it's relevant every single time they ask it?" This is a fun, light, catchy book that reads more like a movie and feels like a pop song (as the author themselves said in the acknowledgments) It was entertaining through and through and even for someone who isn’t a Godzilla fan or a Anime fan, it was a breeze this book. The never ending quips and snarks, the almost comically stereotypical clichés of science fiction-fantasy were thoroughly enjoyed. This book even got a couple of chuckles and chortles out of me. Would totally absolutely eat up a second book in this series, Scalzi are you listening to us!! Highly recommend if you are looking for a good time.
