My thoughts

So Shanna got a new job at the movie theatre, we thought we'd play a fun prank on her, and now most of us are dead, and I'm really starting to feel kind of guilty about it all. You are obviously hooked from the start when the opening sentence is this. This is such a unique novella, I don’t think I have read anything with a similar concept or premise before. It was humorous(?) (in that very teenagery way) and yet so creepy and had me on the edge of my seat all the while. There is that unmissable 80’s teen-slasher vibe to this book which I guess gets only more pronounced with the voice of Gary Tiedemann. A while psychological journey, if I may :P Maybe I did dismiss Stephen Graham Jones too quick, maybe I should give the author’s other books another try!
