My thoughts

for a deeply serious science-y book this one had a lot, and i mean ALOT of very strategically placed jokes that made me laugh out loud multiple times. it talks about all the horrors of medical “science” from the 17th, 18th and 19th century. next time someone tells me about the good ol’ days i’m gonna throw this recommendation @ their face
