another miss for me sadly. I really do wanna be one of the girlies and like Dolly’s works but it just doesn’t seem to happen? :( having to listen to a 35 yo man whining about things that seem so obvious to me for like 70% of the book only to get one chapter at the end from Jen’s perspective wasn’t it. like bro what the fuck is not clicking. i know he is supposed to be a depiction of a typical man and it is true most of them do be like that but god it annoyed me so much. with her last book my complaint was that maybe I am not old enough to, haven’t lived these experiences enough to like/relate but this one was just even worse. would have been 1 🌟 if not for the save at the end.
