My thoughts

edit (dec 2023): after finding out that the author has z*onist views and how the “founding of isr*el” has been mentioned so many times in the book, i can’t have it on my favs shelf. changing my rating for this also. it started off so strong i was bound to love it so much and I loved Marx I loved Sadie, Sam, with all their flaws. Midway through it started feeling boring. And then the ending was just too disappointing. Rounded up to a generous 4.
