Project Hail Mary opens Goodreads in a new tab

Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission to save both humanity and the Earth, though right now he doesn't know that. He awakens millions of miles from home with two corpses for company and no memory of who he is. As his memories return, he realizes he must puzzle out an impossible scientific mystery and conquer an extinction-level threat to our species. With the clock ticking down and the nearest human being light-years away, he must do it alone.
