My thoughts

not enough words in my vocabulary to describe the kind of visceral pain i felt turning pages of this one. the writing is absolutely gorgeous, the story is compelling and it tugs at your heartstrings in the most profound way. everyone should read this book, not only because it is an explicit depiction of the decades of Palestinian history and israeli barbarism but also because it is a beautifully written piece of literature. Amal I will be mourning your death for the foreseeable future.
