My thoughts

3.5/5 🌟 an intriguing concept, a promising start but the middle half of the book felt dragged on endlessly. did we really need to hear cherry’s pov (inner monologue) THAT often? couldn’t we have gotten into the meat of it- sooner? also, my own personal pet peeve that probably won’t bother literally anyone else but why was this a competition of how many pop culture celebrities/events can i drop in between random situations not so subtly? absolutely put me out of the story so many times :3 but the premise was definitely very interesting and i’d wanna read more books with similar themes.
