My thoughts

what a miss man. had such high hopes going into it but it fell flat in so many ways. i wasn’t expecting there to be a mystery but the dual pov was still so unnecessary because the character of “norma” never really showed any depth. no exploration of grief of losing a child from lenore, no commentary on growing up brown in a white suburb, nothing beyond 2D descriptions for the brothers. it really started off so strong and went downhill from there. wouldn’t even have finished if not for the audiobook.
