My thoughts

1. can we please come up with a new combination of words for romantasy book titles please? “a ___ of ___ and ____” is getting so tiring now!! 2. yes it is the exact same type of storyline from the very famous series we all seem to love (hate) here. but hey at least this author isn’t a self serving closeted bigot (afaik?) 3. there definitely are some unique aspects to this story that made me actually enjoy binging it despite it being cut from the same old cloth- like the mmc being mute (we all love when can’t talk don’t we? :P), the magic system being based on colours, etc. 4. a sentient labyrinth? need i say more!? 5. barring the repeated usage of certain specific words and catch phrases as is the case with such books it was fun- will definitely be reading more from the series & author!
