My thoughts

1.5 🌟rounded up as expected this suffered from middle book syndrome and was very disappointing. zera said it herself and yet emelin keeps pushing facing consequences/telling the truth away on a daily basis. for 500 out of the 600 pages. it’s gets so exhausting so quick. the useless mental battles felt drab and repetitive. ending of book had provided such a solid base to build on yet all that happens in this book is people running away from talking about their feelings lmao. and ofc the ending was so predictably infuriating- it might just convince me to not finish the series lol but let’s see.
