My thoughts

rr/ 5 🌟 4/5 stars “I find it so bizarre that I occupy space, and that I am seen by other people.” bruh, this hit too fucking close lmao what the hell. this book has themes surrounding ideas like what it is like to be a human being who feels alone, even when surrounded by other people; what it is like to care about others far more than you care about yourself; what it is like to be in limbo, waiting for things to make sense, but getting stuck in a cursed spiral of thinking and loving and existing? this book had me in a very comforting and weirdly validating validating chokehold. highly recommend for all the depressed gay bitches out there! “I wonder, why do we do this? We give each other rocks and wear expensive clothing to sign papers saying we will be someone’s partner until one of us dies. We involve the government.” Book TWs- anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, self-harm, intrusive thoughts, unhealthy coping mechanisms, homophobia
