Devney Perry
A princess raised to obey her father, never meant to rule or fight, unexpectedly seals an ancient treaty with her own blood. Then a legendary monster hunter sails to shore and a prince enters her life. Now, in a realm cursed by gods, the forgotten princess must cross treacherous lands with a warrior who despises her, bound to a future and a husband she did not choose. As enemies become allies, she questions her role as a pawn in a deadly game. A slow-burn romantasy of monsters, curses and enemies to lovers.

My thoughts
Shield of sparrows? More like a series of questions and answers…. Like is there anything in this book that isn’t told to the reader via a q&a? Whatever happened to show instead of tell?.. And good god Odessa is literally just Feyre 2.0 (and I loathe her as much) but also there is so only so much room for wiggle with these formulaic trope-y romatasy books so yk whatever I suppose.
