Vera Wong's Guide to Snooping [On a Dead Man] (Vera Wong, #2) opens Goodreads in a new tab

Ever since a man was found dead in Vera's teahouse, life has been good. She is surrounded by loved ones, her shop is bustling, and best of all, her son Tilly has a girlfriend, Officer Selena Gray. When Vera meets a distressed young woman looking for a missing friend, and then finds Selena's briefcase holding a file on the death of an enigmatic influencer, who happens to be that same friend, she is determined to solve the murder. Xander had it all online, but after his body is fished out of the water at Mile Rock Beach, the police cannot even identify him.
