The Inmate opens Goodreads in a new tab
Freida McFadden
As a new nurse practitioner at a maximum-security prison, Brooke Sullivan is taught three crucial rules: treat all prisoners with respect, never reveal any personal information, and never ever become too friendly with the inmates. But one inmate is Shane, Brooke's high school sweetheart, the star quarterback and golden boy now serving a life sentence for a series of grisly murders. Brooke's testimony was what put him there. A propulsive, mind-bending thriller about how we define guilt, and who has to pay for it.

My thoughts
this is the worst thriller i have ever read in my life. guess that’s what happens when you pump out a book every six months or so. plot holes after plot holes, inconsistencies, incompetencies, and just general stupidity all around. wtf freida? ew
