A Soul to Keep (Duskwalker Brides, #1) opens Goodreads in a new tab

Reia is shunned by her entire village as a harbinger of bad omens. When the next offering is due and the monstrous Duskwalker is seen heading their way, the villagers give her an impossible choice: be thrown into the prison cells or be sacrificed to a faceless monster. Chosen as the offering, she expects to meet a beast, but the Duskwalker, Orpheus, is a lonely soul with a skull face and glowing eyes who is looking for a human companion. Reia finds herself unexpectedly captivated by him even as she yearns for freedom. Book one of Duskwalker Brides.
