This is Going to Hurt: Secret Diaries of a Junior Doctor opens Goodreads in a new tab
Adam Kay
A collection of diary entries written by Adam Kay during his medical training as a junior doctor from 2004 to 2010. Funny, horrifying and honest, it captures the long hours, the human side of hospital life and the strains on an underfunded National Health Service and its overworked doctors.

My thoughts
the humour really wasn’t there but it talks about an important topic and that was worth knowing about (the struggles of doctors in the NHS)
